Welcome to Canggu’s premier kids ballet program! Our carefully structured program introduces children ages 3-8 to the beauty and discipline of classical ballet based on the Russian Vaganova technique.
Whether your child is taking their first plié or refining their technique, our nurturing environment helps young dancers develop strength, grace, creativity, and confidence while fostering a lifelong love of dance.
Term 1: August 5th-October 9th (10 weeks)
Term 2: October 21st – December 18th (9 weeks)

A delightful introduction to ballet for young children, focusing on basic ballet steps, and developing coordination, rhythm, imagination and creative movement, in a fun and supportive setting.

This class builds on foundational ballet techniques with an emphasis on posture, flexibility, and musicality, encouraging students to express themselves while gaining discipline and grace.

World-Class Instruction
Maria Sascha Khan brings decades of international performing experience to Canggu, having danced as a principal ballerina with some of the world’s most prestigious companies including Staatsballett Berlin and English National Ballet. She trained at elite institutions such as the Kirov Academy of Ballet and Academie de Danse Classique de Princesse Grace. Maria Sascha Khan offers your child access to truly exceptional ballet education right here in Bali.
The Vaganova Method
Our kids ballet Canggu program is based on the Russian Vaganova technique, a systematic approach to classical ballet training developed in Russia and recognized worldwide for producing technically proficient, artistically expressive dancers. This method emphasizes proper alignment, musicality, and age-appropriate progression, ensuring children develop healthy movement patterns while building their skills.
Terms and conditions
– A one-time trial class at 150,000 IDR is offered to new students, after which a term package is required to attend
– One-time 250,000 IDR non-refundable registration fee per child
– Students must wear the mandatory Canggu Studio uniform with hair in a ballet bun for class
– Fees are non-refundable and non-transferable (no refund or credit)
– We are unable to prorate fees for students on holiday during term time
– Term fees are payable by cash or bank transfer. For transfers, please share a receipt showing the date of payment and name of sender
– Payment is due before your child’s first class. If payment has not been made, child will not be able to attend
– Parents/nannies are not allowed inside the classroom during class time as it is distracting for students. End-of-term parent observation days are provided
– Before and after classes, children are not under our supervision. Parents must arrive on time to collect children after class
– Dance is a physical activity. A degree of physical contact with the instructor and student may be required for demonstration or correction
– Dancing is a strenuous activity from which injuries could arise. The Canggu Studio and their instructors are NOT LIABLE for personal injuries, loss of, or damage to personal property
– Please notify us of any relevant medical conditions your child may have
– The Canggu Studio reserves the right to refuse admission to students who are disruptive and misbehave continually in class
– Scheduling and pricing are subject to change at the discretion of the Canggu Studio
